I've been travelling solo since 2022. Hostels, night trains, cheap flights, and a cabin bag that fits in the overhead locker. No beach clubs, no influencer itineraries, no resorts.

The places I like best are the ones you find by walking in the wrong direction for an hour. A coffee shop down a side street, a market that isn't in any guide, a conversation with someone at a hostel who tells you about a better town two hours away.

I travel on a budget because I have to, but also because it keeps things honest. You interact with places differently when you're not insulated from them.

I work as I go where I can. A laptop, a reliable connection, and enough quiet to get things done. Some of the best focus I've had has been in a hostel common room at 7am before anyone else woke up.
